Talk Into The Stars is the first Luke Janela album of the ‘modern era’, ie., its primary medium was cd instead of tape, it was recorded using somewhat respectable technology, and it is actually available to purchase.
“Talk Into The Stars is still one of my favorite albums. It will always bring me back to that time when I left everything behind and moved up to Portland, OR.
It’s an album of broken heartedness, for sure, but it is very bluntly about redemption and hope.
Also, because this was recorded in the summer, literally in a woodshed, on a tape (analog) machine, the sound is incredibly warm and lush.
Basically this is the first album that, although old, I am still happy to distribute and not bury somewhere secret!”
